Driffield Golf Club

Considered as one of the finest in the East Yorkshire area and beyond, the Driffield Golf Club was first launched in 1923, on the eastern town side at Meadow Road. Later in 1934, there was a move to the current parkland setting at Sunderlandwick Estate. Its colourful elegance comes from features such as beautiful native trees, shrubs, wildlife, trout ponds and streams, especially the Eastburn Beck running through the centre of the estate.

Having undergone several redesigns and refurbishments through its history, the main of which took place in 2001, the18-hole golf challenge currently measures 6205 yards Par: 70 and has luxury facilities and services at the Club House which rival the best golf clubs around. Water hazards bounding three sides of the 11th hole gives it one of the best sights in East Yorkshire.

Although largely flat and relatively less physically demanding, all 18 holes of the Driffield Golf Club require accuracy to prevent high scores, presenting a great challenge to all skill level golfers.

Referred to as ‘’The Friendliest Course on the Coast’’, this 18-hole cliff-top links course was founded in 1931 and is located at Lighthouse Road, Bridlington YO15 1AR, UK. Sitting on the famous cliff of the Flamborough area, the Flamborough Head Golf Club has been moulded carefully along the contours of the headland overlooking the North Sea. The rich and interesting history of this golf club started in 1905 when J. H Taylor, a five times Open Champion, and former Ryder Cup Captain laid out the pioneer design which sought to improve Bridlington golf at the time. Numerous later alterations and events which involve great global success between the first and second world wars have resulted to the current facility which is amongst the best in the area and beyond with a top-class bar, restaurant, and Pro shop for purchases of professional golfing equipment, clothing, etc.

The never-ceasing determination by the management to preserve its ancient heritage and still ensure standard advancement inspired the redesigning of the famous Hilderthrope Hall at the club to an ultra-modern multipurpose facility capable of hosting all sorts of events for up to 150 guests.

Hessle Golf Club

Hessle Golf Club is a stunning easy walking parkland course located at Westfield Road, Raywell, Cottingham. The moderately flat layout of the 18-hole, par 72 course designed by the famous Peter Alliss presents a worthy skill test as well as substantial recreation for golfers of all ability levels and ages.

Standing out today as one of the finest golf courses in the entire Yorkshire area, the Hessle Golf Club has had such an eventful journey from humble beginnings more than 100 years ago, to regional excellence. The club was first established in 1898 on a 6-hole course occupying part of the old Hesslewood quarry. In 1912, 1923, and through 1930 till present, several events and expansions or reductions have led to the current high standard clubhouse and magnificent undulating parkland 8-hole par 67 layout, with just a single par 5 hole and seven par 3 holes.

The Hessle Golf Club has welcoming staff and membership offers for virtually every age and skill level golfer and hosts so many events and competitions throughout the year. For instance, Wednesday, July 4th would see the kickoff of the Men’s Over 50’s AM-AM here.

Far Grange Golf Park

This is a uniquely sophisticated owners-only 5-star leisure park with an exclusively peaceful feel. Sutton Park Golf Club

This is a predominantly parkland course measuring 5960 yards (18 holes, par 70) on Saltshouse Road, Kingston-upon-Hull HU8 9HF, UK. Amongst the finest municipal golf courses of the East Yorkshire region, the Sutton Park Golf Club is mapped out within mature woodlands at the center of the area.

Cottingham Parks Golf and Leisure Club

After opening its doors to the public in 1994, Cottingham Parks Golf and Leisure Club has become something special with a layout which challenges pros and fun seekers.

Burstwick Country Golff

Skidby Lakes Golf Course

Located at Woodhill Way, Skidby, East Yorkshire, the Skidby Lakes Golf Course is an inland parkland course with18 holes designed in two 9-hole loops. This versatility is uniquely interesting added to the easy possibility of stopping for refreshments in the middle of your rounds.
