Considered as one of the finest in the East Yorkshire area and beyond, the Driffield Golf Club was first launched in 1923, on the eastern town side at Meadow Road. Later in 1934, there was a move to the current parkland setting at Sunderlandwick Estate. Its colourful elegance comes from features such as beautiful native trees, shrubs, wildlife, trout ponds and streams, especially the Eastburn Beck running through the centre of the estate.
Having undergone several redesigns and refurbishments through its history, the main of which took place in 2001, the18-hole golf challenge currently measures 6205 yards Par: 70 and has luxury facilities and services at the Club House which rival the best golf clubs around. Hessle Golf Club
Hessle Golf Club is a stunning easy walking parkland course located at Westfield Road, Raywell, Cottingham. The moderately flat layout of the 18-hole, par 72 course designed by the famous Peter Alliss presents a worthy skill test as well as substantial recreation for golfers of all ability levels and ages.
Standing out today as one of the finest golf courses in the entire Yorkshire area, the Hessle Golf Club has had such an eventful journey from humble beginnings more than 100 years ago, to regional excellence.
