Salisbury and South Wiltshire golf club is split into two courses the first been the testing 18 hole cathedral course which has been in place since 1991 combining holes from the old course with new holes built in 1989 offering a fair but firm challenge for all golfers. The course is the venue for regular tournaments such as the south west counties championships and county championships ensuring the course is held in high regard in the west region.
The second of the courses is the 9 hole Bibury course bordering and even playing over Salisbury race course. This easy walking golf course measuring at 2,738 yards also has some of the oldest golf holes in Wiltshire dating back to 1888.
