Golf Breaks

Set in over 250 acres of truly beautiful Kent Weald countryside, just a short
drive from junction 5 or 6 of the M25 and less than 1 hour from London,
Hever Castle Golf Club offers 27 holes of unforgettable golf all within the
historic Hever Castle Estate.

Few clubs can boast such an array of stunning holes, from the Princes 9 hole
course to the Championship 18 hole course and even its very own ‘Amen Corner’.

A warm friendly welcome awaits you in the Tudor style Clubhouse. For those chilly
afternoons and evenings an integrated fireplace and traditional log burner provide a
cosy setting for a hearty seasonal meal. During the warmer months the beautiful terrace
that overlooks the course is the ideal setting to discuss your round over refreshments from the bar.

Whatever type of golf day you are planning, a small group of 12 or a large
charity event, your dedicated golf days co-ordinator will help you plan your
perfect day out. Packages are available but we can also help you to arrange
a bespoke day.

The Championship 18 hole Course, comprising the Kings and Queens nines, has been showcased on Sky Sports and has played host to prestigious events including The Kent Amateur Championships, Euro Pro Tour and the Kent PGA Championships.

At a glance of the scorecard, one of the longest holes in Britain, the 644 yard Par 5 17th hole, certainly stands out, however the course boasts an array of stunning holes. The delightful short 6th and 8th holes on the front nine are both played over water, and a beautiful stretch of holes from the 11th to the 13th (Hever Castle’s
very own ‘Amen Corner’) carries over water and small slick greens. However, Hever Castle is not as intimidating as might be imagined, and with a backdrop of beautiful surroundings playing this course is a real pleasure. The course can be played from a number of measured teeing positions with the enjoyment of all levels of golfer in mind. We know that you will thoroughly enjoy the challenge.

The Princes nine hole course has a wonderful layout and has been built to the highest specification. Although shorter in length  from the Championship Course it provides a good test of golf, where accuracy is important, especially on the par 3 3rd and 6th, both played over picturesque lakes.

The Boleyn Course blends the Princes and Kings nines to create a very enjoyable 18 holes. This course has a wonderful variety of hazards from tight tree lined fairways to beautifully presented water hazards, strategically placed bunkers and small greens.

Located alongside the Princes Course, the Express 9 hole features oversized holes and a shorter course, perfect for those who are just starting out or looking for a quick round of golf with friends.

All bedrooms are en-suite and individually styled, with some offering four poster beds, roll top baths or walk in showers. All rooms blend modern day comforts with antique furnishings and original features. The fine collection of bedrooms offers a selection of double rooms, twin rooms, single rooms and some rooms that are suitable for families with young children.

The Astor Wing offers a beautiful panelled lounge with deep sofas and a selection of books and magazines for guests to relax with during their stay. There’s also a rather splendid Billiards Room to be discovered.

Guests who book an Anne Boleyn Wing bedroom will have access to the Astor Wing Lounge and Billiards Room on dates when there are no private events booked into the Astor Wing.

The Anne Boleyn Wing enjoys its own beautiful Breakfast Room which is flooded with natural daylight and offers window seats looking out across the orchard to the castle.

A ‘Full English’ breakfast is included with every stay, complemented by a healthy ‘Continental’ buffet.

All bookings receive complimentary access to the Castle and grounds during opening hours on the day of arrival, the day of departure and all days in between. Outside of opening hours guests can enjoy access to some parts of the gardens.

If Bed and Breakfast is made available on days when the Castle and gardens are closed to the public, a Private Guided Tour of the Castle will be offered on the morning of the day of departure.
